Empire Foods Ships First Container of Egyptian Valencia Oranges to a European Large Importer

Empire Foods is proud to announce the successful shipment of its first batch of premium Egyptian Valencia oranges to a valued buyer in Europe. This milestone marks the beginning of our 2025 export season and underscores Egypt’s growing reputation as a trusted global citrus supplier. The shipment was carefully sourced from select farms known for their superior fruit quality and handled under strict hygiene and cold-chain procedures to preserve freshness, flavor, and juiciness throughout transit.

The shipment was valencia oranges of 4 different sizes.

Prior to export, the oranges underwent a full series of laboratory tests in line with European Union import requirements. These included checks for pesticide residue levels (MRLs), sugar and acidity balance (Brix and citric acid ratios), internal and external quality parameters such as size uniformity, firmness, color, and absence of defects, as well as microbiological safety and packaging integrity assessments. All results confirmed full compliance with EU standards. This success reflects Empire Foods’ ongoing commitment to transparency, traceability, and delivering Egyptian produce that meets the most demanding international benchmarks.
