Empire Foods is proud to announce the signing of a significant new contract to supply 5,000 tons of premium frozen Festival strawberries (Class A, uncalibrated) from Egypt to a long-standing European partner. This milestone reinforces Empire Foods’ growing role as one ofEgypt’s leading exporters of high-quality frozen fruits and reflects the strong trust that European importers place in the company’s consistent product quality and reliability. The strawberries, sourced from selected farms across Egypt’s prime cultivation regions, were harvested at peak ripeness and frozen using advanced IQF (Individual Quick Freezing) technology to preserve their natural flavor, color, and nutritional value.

Prior to shipment, all batches underwent a complete set of laboratory tests and quality inspections in line with European Union food safety and import regulations. These included analyses for pesticide residue limits (MRLs), microbiological testing for pathogens such as E. coli, Listeria monocytogenes, and almonella, as well as heavy metal detection to ensure full compliance with EU food safety standards. Additional sensory evaluations assessed the fruit’s texture, color, and taste, while packaging integrity and traceability checks verified that every container meets European labeling and cold-chain transport requirements. With all test results confirming full conformity, Empire Foods continues to demonstrate its dedication to delivering safe, compliant, and superior Egyptian produce to international markets.
